Mrs. Pappas- School Counselor

About the School Counselor

Mrs. Pappas loves the Prettyboy community and working with your children throughout the school year. She has been a School Counselor at Prettyboy Elementary since 2014. She has her Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Loyola University-Maryland and her Bachelor’s Degree from Towson University with a double major in Psychology and Visual Arts.

Prior to working as a school counselor for BCPS, she was a behavior interventionist at another elementary school in the county for six years. Before working for our school system she worked as a service coordinator for individuals with developmental disabilities and a rehabilitation therapist for adults with chronic mental health concerns.

In her free time, Mrs. Pappas enjoys reading, spending time with her family and pets, reading the Harry Potter series, and getting outdoors.
